About Our Staff
Alan
Wills leads the company in the day to day operations and on-line development
of the company. His vision for the web site is built upon the idea
that golfers can dramatically improve their abilities through the
proper use of golf aids and instructional materials...and of
course plenty of practice. Wills is also the founder and president of
Do Rags, Inc., a company which designs, manufactures, sources and
markets a niche line of high quality headwear for the recreational
sports market. The headwear lines are produced under the Company's
brand name Mental Headgear, and Licensed brand names include Dr.
Seuss. The Company is one of the leading suppliers for the U.S. winter
sports market with and sells to over 1,000 domestic accounts comprised
of independent specialty stores, chain retailers, department stores,
and catalogs.
Elaine
Crosby is a 19-year
veteran of the LPGA Tour and now a member of the Women's
Senior Golf Tour. She is a two-time winner on the LPGA Tour and has
twice placed 2nd at the WSGT HyVee Classic. She started playing golf
at the age of 20. A graduate of the
University of Michigan Business School, Crosby lettered in both tennis
and golf. Just two years after first picking up a golf club,
Crosby won the 1980 Bowling Green Invitational Championship. In 1981,
Crosby won the Michigan Womens Amateur
Championship. An active competitor on the LPGA Tour from 1985 through
2000, Crosby carded numerous top ten finishes in addition to her
victories at the Lady Keystone Open and the Mazda Japan Classic. She
has earned over $1.5 million on Tour.
Having been involved in sports her whole life, Crosby knows what it
can mean to a golfer's game to find a good
lesson. In 1999,
Elaine founded FINDaLESSON.com, a web site featuring a directory of
PGA/LPGA teaching professionals and golf schools across the nation. To
date, over 2,000 professionals and 100 golf schools are featured on
the site. In 2003, Elaine joined forces with PracticeRange.com, forming Onin2 Sports Marketing
to bring training tools into the mix for FINDaLESSON.com teaching pros and their students.
A
native Texan, Tim Hobby has become one of the most sought after teachers in
South Texas. Throughout his golfing career, Tim has been mentored by some of the
best instructors in the game. Names like Dick Harmon, Mike Adams, Jim Murphy,
Jim Flick and Hank Haney are just a few of the teachers that have helped shape
Tim’s philosophy of teaching.
Already into his third year as teaching pro at The Club At Sonterra, AVID Golfer
of Texas Magazine has already named Tim as San Antonio’s top teacher for private
clubs. TaylorMade Golf Company has appointed Tim as one of its top 50 Club
Professional Advisory Staff. Advising the company on issues related to club
design, customer relations, instruction and appearances.
Tim came to The Club At Sonterra in August of 2003, after a remarkable seven
year stint as head men’s golf coach at Baylor University.
In just seven seasons, Tim helped resurrect a program ranked 130th in the nation
to a consistent top 30 program. He led the team to six straight NCAA Regional
appearances and one top 20 National Championship appearance
in 2002. While at Baylor, the Bears claimed a first ever Big XII Golf
Championship in 2001, as Tim was named Big XII Coach of the year. Tim helped
mentor seven All-Big XII Conference Performers and four National All-Americans.
He also coached Baylor to a record seventeen tournament victories and fourteen
individual tournament winners.
Tim is also regarded as one of Texas’ top playing club professionals, having
earned North Texas PGA Player of the Year in 1998 and 2001. He has competed in
four National Club Pro Championships and one United States Open.
Hobby's years as an amateur golfer were extremely successful. He captured the
1989 United States Amateur Public Link Championship and competed in the 1990
Masters. He was also named Texas Amateur Golfer of the Year in 1990, while
claiming honorable mention All-American and All-SWC Honors at Baylor University.

Sue
Fracker
graduated from Michigan State University in 1991 with a B.A. in
English. She has over 12 years experience in the field of computer
graphics, advertising, marketing, web site design and video
production. An avid golfer, Fracker began working with Crosby in 1999
to build FINDaLESSON.com. Fracker designed and wrote the bulk of the
pages on the site and now works with Wills on the day to day
developments for Onin2.
In creating the FINDaLESSON.com directory,
Fracker has marketed to and communicated with thousands of golf
professionals across the nation; she publishes routine newsletters to
pros and consumers promoting the services of PracticeRange.com and
FINDaLESSON.com. Fracker is also the webmaster for the Women's Senior
Golf Tour web site, www.wsgtour.com,
providing on-line real time scoring for WSGT events. A partner in a
web site and graphic design company called Frog Productions, Fracker
has also created marketing programs and promotional products, both
on-line and off the web, for numerous clients in her home town of
Jackson, MI. |
