How To Use The Putter Guide:
Keeping the Putter Guide
flush against the rail of your putting
system confirms that your putter is square
to the plane, making you a more consistent
and accurate putter.
How to attach the
Putter Guide to your putter:
For blade-type putters:
- Hold the Putter
Guide against the heel of the putter.
- Stretch the
rubber band from the post toward the
back of the putter, then underneath and
around to the front of the putter.
Attach it to the post.
For mallet-type
putters (use larger rubber band or tape):
- Attach the Putter
Guide as described above, but move the
rubber band towards the center of the
putter for additional tension.
Use the Putter Guide
with the Eyeline Putting Plane Alignment
System, Eyeline Putting Plane System or the
Eyeline Learning Curve.

- Place the Putting
System or Learning Curve on a putting green
or your carpet.
- With the Putter Guide
attached to your putter, assume your setup
position with the Putter Guide resting
against the rail.
- At first, make
several slow and deliberate strokes without
a ball. Focus on keeping the Putter Guide
flush against the rail. This ensures that
the putter face will remain square to the
plane of your stroke. Once you have
developed the feel of this stroke, hit some
putts. The Putter Guide will prevent your
hands from rotating the shaft during the
stroke. This will allow you to strike your
putts more solidly and roll them along the
intended line.
