Once atttached to a club, the vials are adjusted to center a bubble between the lines according to the swing plane angle of the club. If the club is swung on the correct plane the bubble will remain in the center of the alignment marks.
|
Golfer's swing plane is defined by the angle of the club shaft to the
ground at address. Since the angle is dependent on the length of the
shaft and the height of the player, each player has his own unique swing
plane.
The Spot On Swing Plane is a simple measuring stick for the swing plane.
The two vials are geared to allow the player to adjust the measuring
angle for each particular club the player wants to practice with.
When adjusting the vials for the lie (the swing plane angle) of the
club, adjust the green vial to get the bubble between the lines and the
red vial will alter the opposite an equal distance. |
 |
|
The Swing Plane is fastened to the club just below the club's grip, making sure
the green vial is lined up to the center of the shaft.
The normal stance is taken and the ball addressed as normal. Then adjust the
vial by moving the green vial until the bobble is in the centre of the lines as
in a normal spirit level.
The club is then swung until the left arms is parallel with the ground so the
hands are in line with the center of the chest.
If the club is swung on the correct plane the red vial bubble will be in the
center of the lines.
If the club is swung flat of upright the bubble will not be between the lines. |

The product was easy to set up and
use. The Spot on swing plane was very easy to set up and use right out of the
box and the DVD was very educational. I would gladly recommend this product to
all of my friends. I wish all golf aids were this easy to use.

I think this is a great product that
allows me to stay on plane. This product is very easy to use and set for your
set up. I have already allowed my brother-in-law use mine. It took a-wile to
receive the product but it was well worth the wait.

This product gives instant feedback
as to proper swing plane. It is very simple to use. The product is extremely
easy to install and use and gives instant results in seeing the golfers proper
swing plane compared to his current swing plane. I would recommend the product
to any golfer that has swing plane problems or thinks he does. I think the
testing program is a great tool for the product manufacturer to get his product
into the hands of regular golfers who can then spread the word as to it
benefits. There are so many gadgets these days that we beginners have a hard
time sorting the wheat from the chaff.

Overall, this is a good product. It
is a good tool for lower handicap golfers, and could be used to learn a proper
swing plane with a good instructor helping. It is an excellent tool to monitor
your swing plane. I would recommend this product to fellow golfers who are low
handicappers as well. The Spot On Swing plane required some understanding of
what a proper swing plane should be, and in my experience many beginners/high
handicappers have trouble understanding it. I think that the Readers Testing
Program is an excellent initiative, as the people that the product is intended
for get to test it and offer their opinions to others who may use the product.
Regular users may notice things that professionals may not as they have parts of
their swings that are second nature that they don't think about that the rest of
use struggle with and so wouldn't notice if a product didn't address a
particular aspect.
