Welcome to Stowe Towne, the small Ohio enclave with some of the most interesting characters you've ever met. Some of the town's colorful residents include Howie Howard and Louisa May Miller. They are related to the town's civil war heroes that have a memorial named for them. Robert Redford runs the newspaper, and the Gettysburg Café is across the street where all the rumors originate. Up the road lies the golf course, The Candlesticks, built back in the 1920's. The word is someone is trying to turn it into an upscale residential development. Strangers are arriving in town to create more intrigue. The big shot developer from Cleveland, a Justice from the Ohio Supreme Court, and Congressman add to the mystery. As the battle ground is set, neighbors are against neighbors and friends against friends. Strategy and manipulation are the focus as each character is brought to light with humor creativity and insight.
